ABOUT|suzusan

Suzusan inherits the traditional techniques of Arimatsu Narumi Shibori, which has a history of over 400 years, and develops a wide range of items from fashion to home collections with the concept of "handcrafted items that suit lifestyles around the world." Combining delicate Shibori techniques, each piece is done by hand, with carefully selected materials, they are constantly taking on new challenges.

"Arimatsu Narumi Shibori" is a traditional dyeing technique that has been practiced since the Edo period. Through tie-dyeing techniques such as sewing with needles, tying with thread, and sandwiching with boards, hundreds of different patterns are created on the surface of the fabric. Since every product is tie-dyed by hand by skilled artisans, no two are exactly alike.
