E.MARINELLA, a necktie specialty store with over 100 years of history in Naples, Italy, will be holding a promotion at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor, in the shirts, neckties, and seasonal goods section from Wednesday, October 9th to Tuesday, October 15th.
During the event, there will be an order event with Alessandro Marinella, the fourth-generation owner of Marinella, in attendance, as well as remade items created in collaboration with Yuhi Ozaki, the designer of SUN/kakke .

A popular tie-making event held once a season!

Marinella is known for its seven-fold ties, made by folding a single piece of fabric inward seven times. Its appeal lies in its original style that fuses two tastes: "Pure Napolitan" and "Very British." The fabric has an exquisite balance of firmness and softness, and the tie is made with meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable fit.

For this order event, we will have approximately 250 pieces of fabric, 2 to 5 different designs from each decade, reproduced based on designs manufactured between the 1930s and 1990s. In addition, we will have a special lineup of about 100 pieces of fabric selected by the owner. We recommend enjoying the ordering process by choosing a fabric from a decade that holds special meaning for you, such as your birth year or a memorable year. The ties you order will feature a commemorative etiquette mark celebrating Marinella's 110th anniversary.

On Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th, owner Alessandro Marinella will be visiting the store. On those days, he will help you choose a special knives, adjusting the length and blade width to suit your style and preferences.

Marinella x Sankakke collaboration items are now available!

Designer Yuhi Ozaki, who also works on brands like Sankakke and YOUNG & OLSEN, has a deep understanding of dress and casual styles, and his love for Marinella led to this collaboration.
We will be selling two upcycled items made from Marinella ties that have small misprints or scratches that prevent them from being sold in stores. These ties have been disassembled and remade into new items.
