DUREN, a bag brand launched in 2013 with the concept of "inner allure," will be holding a pop-up shop featuring all items from its signature "THE MAN" collection at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Bags section. The event will run from February 21st (Wed) to February 27th (Tue).

Duren is a Made-in-Japan bag brand that expresses Japanese craftsmanship and the aesthetics of minimalism, developing its own unique creations. Their "crinkle leather" is made by slicing strong vegetable-tanned leather to the thinnest possible thickness (0.5mm) while leaving the grain surface intact, and then bonding aluminum foil to the back. It is characterized by its shape retention and lightness. It is a material whose charm lies in its aging process, which develops a unique character depending on the owner as it is used.

This pop-up store will feature the long-awaited debut of THE MAN 36cm, a new size that is an improved version of the brand's best-selling THE MAN 28cm. Many other popular items will also be available, so please look forward to it!

This bag is made from "crinkle leather." The simple, minimalist design, secured only by a single magnet, allows you to appreciate the beauty of negative space and the wrinkles, marks, and aging process resulting from the aluminum foil. It's named with the meaning of a precious single measure, expressing the idea that "concealment is the essence of beauty."

"DISTORTION" - Distortion - A bag inspired by the effects pedals on electric guitars that distort sound. It represents a silhouette that freely distorts when you hold it.

"STANZA" - Poem -
A bar in rap music is called a "bar," and a whole section of that music is called a "stanza." This item was named after the signature piece of the new collection.

A shoulder bag version of the popular square-shaped tote bag is now available. The material used is "crinkle leather," an original material made by thinning Japanese cowhide to 0.5mm and then pressing aluminum foil onto it.
