CLOUDY, a brand popular for its African-inspired items, and MR.BROTHERS CUT CLUB, a pioneer in the barber shop boom, have launched a collaboration project.

From November 2nd (Wed) to November 15th (Tue), limited-edition collaboration goods commemorating the new project will be available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor promotion.

BARBER ACADEMY PROJECT in GHANA

Cloudy is a brand that aims to create education and employment opportunities in Africa through products that use African ethnic patterns and traditional weaving techniques. On the other hand, "Mr. Brothers Cut Club" is a barbershop that carries on the culture of good old American style while leading the way in Japanese barber culture.

This project aims to establish barber culture as a universal part of society and contribute to its further development. In 2023, a "Barber Academy" will be opened in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Instructors will be dispatched from Japan to create a unique training plan and conduct training sessions, aiming to teach high-quality techniques and hospitality.

In the future, the project aims to create jobs that will help solve the problem of youth unemployment by providing support for graduates to start their own businesses and opportunities to work overseas. This project, which embodies the wish to create a future where the skills and values that people need are properly recognized, has now been launched.

CLOUDY × MR.BROTHERS CUT CLUB POPUP

To coincide with the launch of the project, this pop-up store will feature items such as sweatshirts, cut-and-sew tops, and pomades, all inspired by ethnic patterns, barber poles, and the brand logo.

A portion of the proceeds from this project will be donated by DOYA Co., Ltd., which operates CLOUDY, to the certified non-profit organization CLOUDY, and will be used to fund the activities of the "Barber Academy" in Ghana.
