The beautiful gradations of patina dyeing, applied by skilled artisans, and rare materials such as whiskey-colored cordovan are exquisite. Maintaining these exquisite colors for many years is difficult with daily care alone. That's where a "shoe colorist" comes in handy. One such person, Hiroaki Mihashi of COLUMBUS , will be participating in the shoe exhibition. He will be demonstrating and selling his original creams on the spot, freely blending about 10 different dyes. These specially made creams have better color payoff than commercially available ones, and there's no need to worry about the color of your shoes changing. You can enjoy shoe polishing even more.

The skill of mixing by eye is truly that of a master craftsman!


A demonstration of making a special cream for whiskey-colored cordovan leather. The dye is gradually added to a colorless cream.



A maximum of three colors of dye are used.



The color was almost perfected after a few tests. The whole process took only about 10 minutes.



Finally, the colorist himself bottles the wine.

The exquisite colors are perfectly reproduced!

In addition to the rare cordovan colors demonstrated above, a true colorist can also create exquisite shades of patina dyeing, often seen in high-end shoes. The uniquely chosen color names are also quite stylish. ¥3,300 (demonstration sale)

*During the three days from September 23rd (Fri/Holiday) to 25th (Sun), we will be holding demonstration sales every day from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A colorist will mix cream on the spot to match the color of your shoes, so please bring the shoes in question. (Reservations can be made in advance.)
