1. JOHN LOBB

The pinnacle of British dress shoes, the "Delano," featuring a single buckle and revived from the archives for the shoe exhibition, is a perfect model for today's trends of thin dress slip-ons, such as Belgian shoes. The black suede version, specially commissioned, gives it a delicate and elegant impression.

2. EDWARD GREEN

EDWARD GREEN is known for its elegant shoemaking that embodies the history of British footwear. This time, they have created the masterpiece "Dover" using the 808 last, which was frequently used in their top-of-the-line "Top Drawer" series. A key feature of this shoe is the semi-square toe, which has a slightly larger toe box than other shoes from the brand. In addition to the sophisticated skin stitching, the practical and comfortable half-midsole is also present.


The "Halifax" can be considered the boot version of the renowned masterpiece "Dover." This too is crafted using the 808 last, which gives it a bespoke feel. The skin stitching on the toe, a testament to the craftsman's skill, is superb.

3. Stefano Bemer

These wingtip single monk strap shoes are a special selection from our archives. The upper is made of Horween's "Arlington" calfskin leather, which features a diamond-shaped embossed pattern. The perforations on the wing section are limited to the edges, and the understated buckle, unlike those typically used on single monk straps, exudes elegance.

4. Enzo Bonafe

The brand's popular short side-gore boot, the renowned "Cary Grant," is crafted in Horween cordovan leather. Creating the perfect shape for the instep of a cordovan side-gore boot is extremely difficult, but Bonafe's skilled, precise handiwork makes this a feat only they can achieve. The Goodyear welt construction provides a supple yet reliable fit.

5. Le Yucca's

Le Yukkas, designed by designer Yuka Murase and manufactured by Enzo Bonafe, is a semi-brogue shoe with a feminine touch thanks to its short toe cap. The upper material has been changed from the usual vegetable-tanned leather to that of Carl Freudenberg, resulting in exceptional durability. The balance adjustment, a hallmark of Murase's experience in making athletic shoes, is also superb.



This model is an adaptation of an item favored by David Bowie. The high heels and zip-up boots emphasize its fashionable look.



These jodhpur boots feature strap hole placement adjusted to fit men's foot sizes. A key feature is the red lining, typically found only in women's boots.

6. Fratelli Giacometti

Monkey boots, with their large uppers dominated by wingtip detailing, are inherently a casual style. However, the sophisticated Giacometti last and short-napped suede create a sharp and clean impression. Another item specially commissioned for the shoe fair is a plain-toe shoe featuring the distinctive stitching lines characteristic of the Norwegian welt construction. The use of external eyelets and Utah calf leather gives it a casual yet rugged impression. It also boasts excellent practicality thanks to the Vibram sole.

7. CARMINA

Founded in 1866 on the Spanish island of Mallorca, Carmina offers a penny loafer that has been particularly popular in recent collections. The so-called "marble cordovan" with a green base and mixed colors exudes a sense of sophistication. This unique yet dressy shoe features a hidden channel finish.



These tassel loafers are crafted from Horween's Armagnac-colored cordovan leather. With their subtly protruding welt, they have a very dressy look. The leather soles are made by Rendenbach, the same high-quality company that made the penny loafers shown above.

8. CROCKETT&JONES

Crockett & Jones, based in Northampton, England, a mecca for high-quality footwear, was founded in 1879. Their classic chukka boot model, the Chartsey, is crafted from the finest cordovan leather from Horween Leather Company in the USA. The plain, unadorned upper design allows for the distinctive, deep creases that cordovan leather develops with wear.

9. Paraboot

Paraboot, a prestigious French brand that creates dressy, all-weather shoes, is featured in Isetan Men's collection, which includes rare cordovan models. (Top) The "Chambord," characterized by its distinctive moccasin stitching, offers tough comfort thanks to its Paratex sole. (Bottom) The "Avignon" is highlighted by its meticulous moccasin stitching. It is equipped with Paraboot's own sole made of 100% natural rubber, which offers excellent grip and flexibility.

10. SANDERS

SANDERS a brand that remains committed to British manufacturing, has adopted a new material for its classic straight-tip military derby shoe: "waxed suede," a suede leather impregnated with oil. This leather is resistant to water and dirt, giving the shoe a tougher and more robust appearance. The heavy, matte texture pairs well with casual military pants such as chinos and cargo pants.
The classic side-gore boots also use a special "waxed suede." Like the straight-tip boots shown above, they feature a commando-type rubber sole, making them suitable for use in rainy weather.

11. Tricker's

This long-established shoemaker was granted a Royal Warrant (a title of supplier to the British Royal Family) by Prince Charles. Based on their "Moulton," a masterpiece of country shoes with fans all over the world, they have created a shoe using Horween leather, Vibram foamed rubber soles, and tiger laces, resulting in a casual look reminiscent of American work boots.

Tricker's has produced a limited-edition custom model using rare leather that they had in their archives.

12. REGAL

REGAL , a leading name in authentic shoemaking in Japan, has commissioned a special edition of its popular tassel loafer, a staple model, using Horween cordovan leather. Crafted using a last designed to fit Japanese feet, the loafers are available in navy and dark brown leather. With a light and stylish look that makes them easy to wear every day, they come in a special original box, a treat for fans.

13. CORTHAY

Cortheté, a French brand founded by a genius craftsman who honed his skills at renowned shoemakers such as John Lobb and Berluti, presents its signature model, the [Arca], a beautiful long-nosed, open-laced plain-toe shoe. The design, featuring a V-shaped moccasin toe cap, exudes a stylish Parisian flair. This special pair is made to order.

14. PETROSOLAUM

These popular side-gore boots are from Peter Oraum, a Tokyo-based atelier. The leather used, which spans from the exposed cordovan layer (known as "cordovan butt") to the suede section, is the brand's signature material. It features a deep color achieved by covering green-dyed leather with black.

15. ROLLING DUB TRIO

The Casper, a staple from Asakusa-based Rolling Dub Trio, is now available in a pre-release model at the shoe expo, featuring a thick, impactful chunky rubber sole. While retaining the brand's signature rugged upper and zipper details, it also possesses a somewhat fashionable look.

16. JOSEPH CHEANEY

The Kengon 2R is a robust country straight-tip shoe that uses a military last, formerly used by the British Army. It uses specially oiled pull-up grain leather, which not only repels water well but also ages beautifully. As a special feature for the shoe exhibition, the insole has been replaced with a British-style green, which is another highlight.

These are custom-made monk strap shoes from a shoe brand with a workshop on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The artisanal skin stitching on the toe is a key feature. The technique of securely stitching while concealing the seams on the surface is quite impressive. They utilize the "Goya" last, which offers an excellent balance of sharpness and roundness.

25. Jalan Sriwijaya

JALAN SRIWIJAYA, originating from Indonesia, offers authentic hand-sewn welted shoes crafted in the UK. For their 20th anniversary, they've created a sophisticated, matte silver upper made from "Piñatex®" leather , which is derived from the fibers of pineapple leaves that would otherwise be discarded during cultivation.

26. NERD MIND

Madras, a veteran shoemaker that pioneered mass production of Goodyear welted shoes in Japan, presents NERD MIND, a modern collection from this 100-year-old established brand. The burgundy side-gore boots, available exclusively at the shoe exhibition, are lightweight despite featuring a thick Vibram sole, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods.

27. OLDMAN

Oldman, based in Kobe, is a brand renowned for its moccasin shoes. These bit loafers are a new addition to the brand's collection and will be released exclusively at the shoe fair. From a popular Japanese brand known for its high-end shoes made with crocodile leather comes a loafer that embodies ultimate luxury. The photo shows the undyed crocodile crust. 29. SPINGLE MOVE

Spingle Move has gained a following for its meticulously crafted sneakers, which are made by hand using Japan's unique and delicate artisanal techniques.
