From Wednesday, April 13th to Tuesday, April 19th, a PETROSOLAUM pop-up shop will be held at the men's shoe section on the first basement floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . During the event, customers can order from a diverse collection of shoes, ranging from classic models to the latest Fall/Winter 2022 collection.

Peter Oraum is a Japanese shoe brand launched in the Autumn/Winter 2012-13 collection by designer Sotaro Ogino. The brand aims to create products that seamlessly blend the function of foot protection with the qualities of art.

With respect for the animals used in the materials, and based on traditional manufacturing methods passed down through generations to maximize the properties and characteristics of the materials, the brand creates shoes that reflect new challenges and unique philosophies. At this pop-up, in addition to the new Fall/Winter 2022 collection, Isetan Men's has selected some of the brand's signature models, such as the "side gore," and will be accepting orders.

The featured model is the "hidden derby," a top pick by men's shoe buyer Miyashita. This mid-cut shoe with an open lacing and plain toe is constructed from two parts, the vamp and the eyelets. Not only does it have a beautiful form, but it also offers a comfortable fit with ample room for a leather shoe, making it a truly pleasant shoe to wear.

For custom orders, customers can also choose the brand's original cordovan butt material, which includes the cordovan layer and the surrounding suede-like portion. By intentionally using the oil-impregnated cordovan layer and the surrounding butt portion, the contrast that appears when used as a single piece brings out the movement of the material's texture. Such meticulous details are a testament to the brand's unique skill.
