From March 23rd (Wed) to April 12th (Tue), Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F Men's Shoes will be hosting Maison Margiela pop-up store. The store will be showcasing the new Spring/Summer 2022 shoe collection.

This season, Maison Margiela continues to update its interpretation of what Margiela himself has done. With "Inverted Snobbery" and "decontracte" as its themes, the brand proposes a collection that possesses timeless value even as people's perception of material possessions changes due to the pandemic.

This pop-up store will feature a diverse collection, including the "TABI" series, one of Maison Margiela 's iconic styles, as well as the brand's original "German Trainer" and its evolved version, the Decortiqué design, the paint series, and new shoes made with seasonal materials.

Maison Margiela

Founded in Paris in 1988 by Belgian-born Martin Margiela, the brand delivers original creations through authenticity, anonymity, and reconception, encompassing everything from haute couture to ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods, and accessories.

John Galliano took over as creative director in October 2014. The brand's unique values are born from a pyramidal creative process where ideas introduced in the "artisanal" line (equivalent to haute couture) are filtered through all other lines.
