From Wednesday, March 23rd to Tuesday, March 29th, the Charcoal TOKYO upcycling event will be held at Men's Authentic on the 7th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Charcoal Tokyo, a general store that opened in Hiroo, Tokyo in 2018, primarily sells pocket t-shirts. Based on the theme of "seven essential items that enrich your life just a little," the store's product lineup consists of original products and collaborations with selected brands.

The original "ORIGINAL Charcoal" line is based on the themes of ageless, genderless, and borderless, and features a wide range of sizes from XS to 3XL, as well as a rich color palette centered around charcoal gray, the color from which the brand name originates. All items are produced in Japan, with a focus on original material development and domestic sewing.

Upcycle your favorite T-shirts

For this event, the upcycling service usually offered at our Hiroo shop will be held for a limited time at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . We will remake your cherished T-shirts into summery bucket hats and patchwork pockets. By adding the patchwork pockets to a T-shirt of your choice, you can create a one-of-a-kind pocket T-shirt.

The base T-shirt is made from a super-soft, seamless jersey fabric and is available in six original colors. The pocket design features a double pocket style, with a regular pocket made from the same material as the T-shirt and a remade patchwork pocket. Both the bucket hat and T-shirt are available in sizes S to XL, making them suitable for all genders.
