TENEO, a brand that fuses Japanese and French craftsmanship and traditional arts, will be holding a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, Men's Contemporary, from January 19th (Wed) to January 25th (Tue).

During the event, the collection will feature new items from the brand, as well as items that blend tradition and culture, which is the brand's forte, such as a gas mask pot developed in collaboration with Hida Takayama ceramic artist Shibukusa Ryuzo VII, and collaborative items with the fashion and culture magazine "THE NEW ORDER MAGAZINE."

Each item retains the functional details of military, hunting, work, and outdoor wear, while being updated with a beautiful silhouette that is easy to use in everyday life. This pop-up store will feature new items from Teneo that focus on functionality and traditional craftsmanship. The hardshell jacket, modeled after French military winter outerwear, is finished with a design and color pattern that is easy to wear every day, and uses a high-spec material made by laminating Reda's flannel wool and micro ripstop. Attention to detail shines through, such as using parts that are used in military equipment.

We will also be introducing a gas mask pot developed in collaboration with Hida Takayama ceramic artist Shibukusa Ryuzo VII, as well as collaborative items with the fashion and culture magazine "THE NEW ORDER MAGAZINE."

The gas mask pot is a testament to the sculptural prowess of Ryuzo Shibukusa VII, who carries on the traditions of Takayama, a town renowned for its craftsmanship. The piece interprets the gas mask as a symbol of the past pandemic, while plants and fresh flowers, which evoke positive images of comfort and healing, symbolize the future, conveying a message of moving forward. We offer fully handmade flowerpots and vases, with every step of the production process completed by hand.

This jacket, an updated version of a US military insulator with specifications and a silhouette suitable for everyday use, uses Japanese fabric made from high-density cotton-nylon that has been sun-dried to bring out its natural texture. The inside is lined with lightweight, breathable padding for comfort. The French lace detail on the back, inspired by Japanese kumiko latticework, is a signature touch of the brand.
