Archkerry, a shoe brand that recreates the charm of American vintage style through the hands of Japanese craftsmen, will be appearing at the men's shoe section on the first basement floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , from December 18th (Sat) to December 24th (Fri). Ready-made shoes will be unveiled in Japan for the first time, and made-to-order shoes will also be available.

Arch Kelly is a shoe brand that reinvents American vintage shoes from the 1950s and 60s as modern footwear. Since its inception in 2020, the brand's made-to-order shoes, crafted by skilled artisans, offer the same joy as acquiring a pair of deadstock shoes in excellent condition.

The upper features fine stitching rarely seen today, and a "curl edge" construction where the edges of the leather are skived, folded, and then sewn, all reproduced with the high skill of a master shoemaker. The materials mainly used are domestic calfskin, characterized by its fine grain and vibrant colors. For custom orders, full-grain calf suede from the British company Charles F. Stead and Horween shell cordovan are also available.

The design faithfully reproduces vintage details, including the name tag inside the shoe and the printing on the shoebox, all in accordance with the original specifications. The overall look expresses a vintage aesthetic, incorporating the Arch Kelly logo design by leading fashion illustrator Hiroshi Wataya.

This pop-up shop will feature a selection of iconic American vintage shoe models, and will also offer made-to-order options where you can choose the finest details and specifications.

■ Ordering Process
① Choose your favorite combination from 8 design styles and 10 upper material options.
② Choose the sole edge color and lining. Leather and canvas fabrics are available for the toe lining.
③ Choose your outsole. Leather soles are the standard option, with channel finish available. Practical rubber soles are also available.
④ Choose your heel. The original heel is a highly grippy rubber heel with a mesh pattern seen in vintage shoes. Other options include V-cleats and Owl's Eye cleats, which are irresistible to enthusiasts.
⑤ Fitting. We have two types of shoe lasts and sample sizes available from 5D (23.0cm) to 10D (28.0cm).

Furthermore, we will be introducing ready-made shoes from this brand, which has previously only offered made-to-order items, at the earliest possible date in Japan. This will be an opportunity to see and touch the actual shoes, so please take a look.
