Colony Clothing is a Singapore-based specialty store and original brand with a "New Colonial Style" theme. This time, they have collaborated with SPINGLE MOVE, a brand that is known worldwide for its Japanese-made sneakers.


The Kudu suede sneakers, which will be available for pre-order at the ISETAN Shoe Fair, are surprisingly not made using the vulcanized construction method. "What we focused on with Spingle Move shoes was not so much the construction, but the last and the comfort of the fit," says Kozo Kawamura, founder of Colony Clothing.


Furthermore, Creative Director Tomoka Takada explains, "We aimed for a presence that falls between dressy and casual, like Colony Clothing's clothing, so we chose a classic court shoe style this time."


This project involves creating sneakers at a factory in Adachi, Tokyo, as "Made in Tokyo," designed to appeal to the bespoke shoe wearers they regularly interact with in Singapore. These shoes are sure to attract attention from those seeking a new normal style.

Other notable models are also planned for release.
