On Sunday, April 25th, the Made to Measure section on the 5th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building will host a fitting session led by Hideaki Sato, who runs "Pecora Ginza".

Born in Tateyama as the third generation of a tailor family, Mr. Sato learned the fundamentals in Japan before moving to France in 1988. He gained experience as a pattern maker and then spent five years from 1990 training at the Milan tailor "Mario Pecora." After returning to Japan in 2000, he opened "Pecora Ginza" and is known as a pioneer in spreading authentic French-style suits throughout Japan.

The garments he creates are characterized by a moderately soft and voluminous chest area, a shaped waist, and a rounded form typical of Italian style, making them comfortable to wear even when you're not feeling tired. Furthermore, the high proportion of handwork and the use of highly difficult techniques that cannot be done in typical factory production, such as those used for collar attachment, result in a beautifully tailored look that is comparable to a bespoke suit, even though they are made to measure.

We invite you to experience authentic tailoring at our fitting session, where we will also be showcasing special fabrics personally selected by Mr. Sato.
