Since its founding in 1832, Longines, whose timepieces embodying a pioneering spirit have garnered support from executives worldwide, will be holding a LONGINES fair at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 5th Floor Watch /Promotion from March 31st (Wed) to April 20th (Tue). During the fair, a wide range of the "Longines Spirit" collection, which boasts a timeless design and enduring popularity, will be on display.
Longines watches and instruments, with their high precision, reliability, robustness, and innovative measurement systems, have supported the achievement of countless great feats. Longines watches were on the wrists of pioneers who ventured into uncharted territories such as harsh weather, raging seas, and the skies.
Many explorers and aviators not only placed great trust in Longines, but sometimes even entrusted their lives to them. Pioneers of air, land, and sea exploration, such as Amelia Earhart, Paul-Émile Victor, Eleanor Smith, and Howard Hughes, carried Longines watches as measuring instruments on their arduous and dangerous expeditions.

The Longines Spirit combines design elements from past pilot watches, elevating them into a modern design. From the large crown and flange to the stepped case, the font of the numerals on the dial, and the shape of the hands, every detail reflects the history of the pioneers who challenged the skies, resulting in a design that evokes a sense of romance.
Furthermore, the combination of design and reliable technology is a crucial factor, and the movement is equipped with the exclusive automatic winding caliber "L888.4" or "L688.4" which uses a silicon balance spring. In addition, the calibers, which boast a power reserve of approximately 64 hours and approximately 60 hours respectively, are chronometer certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), guaranteeing high precision. Other features of this collection include a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a screw-down crown, and a case back secured with six screws.

The lineup includes a 40mm case diameter three-hand calendar model and a 42mm case diameter chronograph model, each available in matte black, grained silver, and sunray blue dial color variations. The five stars on the dial are a nod to Longines' past practice of using a star system to indicate the quality of its calibers, with five stars representing the highest rating. Each watch comes with either a leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet, depending on the dial color.
As the seasons change and we feel refreshed, why not choose an adventurous watch as your companion? Longines will also be giving a gift to those who make a purchase during the fair period, so don't miss this opportunity.
