Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store is hosting an event called "Adults' Playtime," which proposes leisure activities for affluent adults, for a limited time from March 16th (Tuesday) to March 21st (Sunday).

During the event, we will be showcasing carefully selected items and ways to enjoy them from three categories: "sauna," "watches," and "art," chosen by experts. Of these, "sauna" is definitely worth paying attention to. There will be a wide array of items and events to help you "rejuvenate" your body and mind, including items to make your sauna experience more comfortable and talk shows where sauna enthusiasts will talk about the wonders of saunas.

From authentic saunas to casual and enjoyable lifestyle goods, we have a wide selection to choose from.

We offer tent saunas that allow you to easily create your own sauna space, just like setting up a regular camping tent, as well as hats, gowns, clothing, and other goods to fully enjoy your sauna experience.

On March 20th (Saturday, public holiday) and 21st (Sunday), you can enjoy a tent sauna set up outdoors at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, experiencing löyly (steam) and heat waves firsthand. We will also be inviting Mr. Hideaki Iwasaki, the new business development manager at Metos and known as the "Evangelist of Fire," to talk about sauna culture in Finland and Japan.

On Saturday, March 20th (a public holiday), a talk show will be held featuring Tanaka Katsuki, author of the manga "Sado"; Akiyama Daisuke, also known as the "Sauna Master" of the sauna specialty brand TTNE inc.; and Seo Keita, representative of the sauna-focused review media "Sauna Time." Titled "My Sauna Style," the talk show will cover the appeal of saunas from the perspective of top sauna enthusiasts, discussing topics such as how to use a sauna, essential items, and how to spend time after a sauna.


Furthermore, on Sunday, March 21st, a talk show will be held about the traditions of "Finnish-style saunas," which were registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage at the end of 2020, and the sauna scene in Finland, the home of Finland.
Akira Numata and Laura Kopilow from the Finnish Embassy's Commercial Section, along with Toshihiko Morizumi, President and CEO of Tamadic Co., Ltd., a sauna enthusiast who visits saunas eight times a week, are scheduled to speak.

We will conduct a campaign to make the event enjoyable and exciting.

On March 20th (Saturday, public holiday) and 21st (Sunday), the first 100 customers each day who present a receipt showing a purchase of 5,500 yen (including tax) or more of sauna goods at the "Adults' Playtime" venue, along with the coupon screen displayed after registering as a Mitsukoshi Isetan app member, will receive a free bottle of Finnish ice milk "JYMY".
Additionally, during the event period, those who take photos at the photo spots set up inside the venue and post them on social media with the hashtag "#MitsukoshiSaunaClub" will receive an original sticker as a gift.
