If you're tired of the usual way of tying a scarf, why not try this "Pitti wrap" first?

There are several theories about the origin of the name, but it is said to have been named after the fact that fashionistas adopted this style en masse at Pitti Immagine Uomo, a menswear trade fair held in Florence, Italy. It is sometimes called the "Milanese wrap." This way of wrapping instantly elevates your style with its moderate volume and three-dimensionality. It also keeps you warm because it doesn't loosen easily around the neck.

What type of scarf is recommended for the "Pitti wrap" style?

I recommend choosing a scarf with multiple colors. When you wrap it, the overlapping colors will be visible at the knot, creating a more vibrant look.

How to tie a scarf #2 | Necktie style

The "necktie wrap" is recommended for all types of wraps that make the most of their length, such as scarves and stoles. It pairs well with coats that have a V-shaped neckline , such as Chesterfield coats and trench coats. The vertical lines of the coat and the wrap are emphasized, creating a more streamlined and flattering look.

If you tend to look bulky when wearing a coat, try the "necktie wrap" technique, which emphasizes vertical lines.

What type of scarf is recommended for the "necktie style"?

It can be used with anything from solid colors to patterns, but I recommend a stole that makes your neck look lighter, or a muffler with a narrower width.

The "New York style" is versatile enough to be used both on and off duty, regardless of your clothing style, from casual to dressy. Once you learn it, you can use it in a variety of situations.

What type of scarf is recommended for the "New York wrap"?

My recommendation is a traditional British-style checked scarf that can be used both on and off duty. Choosing a narrow, long scarf will give you a more refined look, while choosing a wider scarf will give you a more casual look.

Scarf Wrapping Method #4 | Pod Wrap

*The muffler shown in the video is for reference only.

Similar to the "Pitti wrap," the "Pod wrap" is an advanced wrapping technique that makes coats with open necklines, such as Chesterfield coats and trench coats, look even more stylish . It also provides extra warmth as it completely covers the neck and chest.

If you're tired of simple scarf-tying methods, or if you want to show off your favorite scarf, then you should definitely try this "pod wrap" style.

What type of muffler is recommended for "pod wrapping"?

Choose a scarf with a pattern or one that uses multiple colors. This will make the knot of the scarf look more stylish when you wrap it around your neck. Additionally, a scarf that is slightly longer vertically will be easier to wrap .

This is the easiest way to tie a scarf, giving your coat style a neat and compact look . Its appeal lies in its ease of use regardless of the scarf's width or length. It's also easy to put on and take off, making it suitable for business settings.

What type of scarf is best suited for the "loop wrap" style?

Choosing a scarf made of a refined material or one that is compact in size will create a neater and sharper impression.

How to tie a scarf #6 | Tie at the back

*The muffler shown in the video is for reference only.

The "back tie" style adds volume while creating a casual and youthful impression. It's recommended when you want to keep the front neat and add an accent to your back view . Furthermore, since it covers the neck well, it can also be used as a way to protect against the cold.

Also, since the fringe tends to get hidden in the collar of your outerwear, the key is to tie it and then twist it around to the back to make sure the fringe is clearly visible.

What type of scarf is best suited for a "back-tie" style?

A scarf that is slightly longer vertically is easier to wrap . Please note that a shorter scarf may feel a little tight when wrapped twice around your neck, and you may not be able to wrap it completely.
