From Wednesday, November 18th to Tuesday, December 8th, RADO will be holding the "New Collection True Square Automatic Fair" at the Watch/Promotion section on the 5th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The event will feature the "True Square Undigital Automatic," a collaboration model with interior designer YOY, as well as all of RADO's new models for 2020. Here, we'll introduce two models that are particularly noteworthy.

Rado is a brand that continues to create innovative watches based on the development of materials, primarily high-tech ceramics, and designs rooted in thorough minimalism. This time, the brand has collaborated with Japanese interior designer YOY to create the "True Square Undigital Automatic," a watch that simultaneously incorporates digital and analog elements.

Utilizing the unique shape of a 7-segment display, a typical display method for digital clocks, the design uses the hands to represent different lengths. By blacking out parts of the hour and minute hands, which are all the same size, the design expresses the length of the hands, creating a masterful fusion of digital and analog.

In the dark, the Super-LumiNova® luminescent paint applied to the hands glows white, making them stand out clearly against the black dial. While its appearance incorporates "digital" features, it is powered by a mechanical automatic movement, a unique combination that justifies its name, "Undigital."

The watch is made from high-tech ceramics, a material that Rado excels at using, resulting in a robust yet lightweight feel.

The "True Secret Automatic" features a round case and a clean, minimalist design without indices, a hallmark of Rado's style. The new model is adorned with a beautiful, deep green gradient, and the movement, visible through the open heart at the 12 o'clock position, maintains a perfect balance of delicacy and boldness.

With a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, it excels in convenience and will likely serve as a reliable everyday companion.
