The Fall/Winter 2020 collection, the sixth season from the shoe brand CALMANTHOLOGY, designed by Makoto Kaneko, will be available. It will be presented at a pop-up shop held from November 11th (Wed) to November 24th (Tue) at the men's shoe section on the B1 floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .


True to its brand name, which means "a collection of poems without words," the theme of <Kalmanthology> changes every two pages (season) across a two-page spread (one year). Designer Kaneko positions this "PAGE.06" as the halfway point.

In "PAGE.06," the designer felt the need to return the hands, which had been fluctuating in previous collections, back to a "neutral" position, and along with the emerging form, another design element came to the forefront.


These shoes feature variations such as monk boots with lowered buckles, seamless boots without seams, elastic cuts with Western stitching, strap cuts with unusually short tongues, and bootie cuts that emulate men's booties—design changes occurring within the form itself, rather than through the addition of other elements.

In addition to the "PAGE.06" Fall/Winter 2020 collection, which marks the brand's sixth season, this pop-up will also feature a special lineup of double monk straps, jodhpur boots, tassel loafers, and more.

Regarding the holding of this pop-up event, Mr. Kaneko provided the following comment:
I hope you enjoy this collection, and look forward to seeing how "PAGE.07" has evolved from "Neutral." In these times, I sincerely pray for everyone's good health.
