Founded in Bologna, Italy in 1962, Frye's garments are created through a fusion of handcrafted work by skilled artisans—a skill now said to be rare—and machine work. The hand-cutting tailored to the characteristics of the fabric and pattern, and the machine stitching with 10 stitches per centimeter (compared to the usual 7 stitches per centimeter in the shirt industry), are testaments to their high level of skill. The seam allowances are adjusted according to the part of the garment, resulting in no waste, a comfortable fit, and a beautiful appearance.

Beyond its exceptional sewing techniques, what truly sets Fly apart is its use of top-tier fabrics.
