The first model from NERD MIND, a leather shoe brand that debuted in 2020, "Uno," will be available from Wednesday, October 7th at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes section. Produced by Madras, a company celebrating its 100th anniversary, these high-quality leather shoes feature a classic design updated for modern times.

The brand's "Nerd Mind" embodies a craftsman's spirit. The brand's "Uno" model, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, is versatile enough to be worn casually or formally. It features a plain toe design with open lacing and minimal seams. Furthermore, the leather scraps that would otherwise be discarded are embossed with the brand logo and sewn onto the tongue, creating a sustainable design.

The upper is made of glass leather, known for its ease of care, and the shoes are constructed using the Goodyear welt method for long-lasting wear. The lining uses "natural leather," which is finished with minimal use of colorants and finishing agents after dyeing, preserving the leather's unique texture and allowing it to naturally conform to the foot. The model name and production date are also engraved on the inside of the shoes.

The sole is made of Vibram® EVA from Italy, giving it a substantial feel. It features a double construction with an L-shaped storm welt that raises the upper side to prevent rainwater from seeping inside the shoe while walking, resulting in an excellent balance of grip and abrasion resistance.

Furthermore, it comes with shoelaces of different colors that can be changed to suit your mood, and the lace holes feature back eyelets (reverse eyelets) that allow you to thread the laces smoothly without compromising the appearance.
