Hickey Freeman , a brand favored by successive US presidents and executives active in various fields, will be holding his first ever custom-made leather jacket fair in Japan from Wednesday, February 19th to Tuesday, March 3rd. During the fair, customers will be able to select their preferred leather color and order a one-of-a-kind jacket.

The order event will feature simple, timeless leather jackets for adults. Among leather goods, sheepskin leather is popular for its soft and comfortable feel.
For this project, we've used high-quality classical leather made from sheepskin tanned by overseas tanneries. Following traditional methods, skilled craftsmen spare no time or effort to create a material with an exquisite texture, resulting in a supple yet sturdy leather fabric. The garment is then sewn in Japan, with experienced artisans carefully matching the natural grain, color, and thickness, finishing each piece by hand.

This is the first pattern order event of its kind in Japan, where customers can choose from seven colors of leather, as well as the lining and stitching. Because of its simple design, it's likely to be a versatile piece that can be worn year-round, in spring and autumn.
