Last weekend, on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of January, bartender Matsumoto, a familiar face to Salon de Shimaji fans, visited the bar and gave a fantastic demonstration of his amazing cocktail-shaking skills.

Shimaji: "Butler Matsumoto has come to help us out. It's a huge help to have him here. We're planning to have him come again next month, so please come and see Matsumoto's shaker skills."

I'm planning to visit on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th in February.

Shimaji: "The most precious thing of all is friendship. I hope you all cherish your friendships."

Katsuhiko Shimaji is the producer of the Isetan Men's Residence Salon de Shimaji, located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Born in 1941, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and joined Shueisha. He was assigned to "Weekly Playboy" and became its editor-in-chief in 1983, where he created a sensation with the "Life Advice" column featuring Renzo Shibata, Toko Kon, and Ken Kaiko as respondents, growing the magazine into a million-copy publication. He later served as editor-in-chief of "PLAYBOY Japan" and "BART." After serving as the representative director of Shueisha International, he retired in 2008. He is currently a writer and essayist.
