Party Style Selected by Male and Female Stylists | Bow Tie x Gray/Navy Suit

With December bringing an increase in dress-up occasions such as year-end parties, Christmas celebrations, and class reunions, we're introducing the increasingly popular "bow tie" V-zone. Two stylists, a man and a woman, from the dress shirt and tie department on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , will offer V-zone suggestions from both a female and male perspective, using three matching suits and jackets.

The first outfit features a LARDINI suit in gray and navy Solaro (navy) leather. Finally, we've prepared a tie look for those who prefer ties. Enjoy these three party styles.

I. A female stylist's pick for a "V-zone that conveys a party vibe, perfect for a dad who loves his family."
II. A male stylist's choice: "Following Sir Hardy Amies' famous 'Midnight Blue'"
III. For those who prefer ties: "A sophisticated yet stylish tie is versatile."

From a woman's perspective, the most appealing style for men is one that is "not flashy, not overdone, but more stylish than usual." With the December party season in mind, we hope that men will upgrade their usual style and dress appropriately for escorting others, so we have paired this suit with a multi-striped shirt and a dark purple velvet butterfly.

While black and navy are popular choices for formal bow ties, a deep purple is a unique color that stands out and can be shared with your partner at formal occasions. To enhance the elegance of the bow tie, pair it with a multi-striped shirt with a purple base; coordinating the colors will elevate your mood. This is the perfect outfit for a party you'll be attending with your family.

II. A V-zone chosen by a male stylist, inspired by Sir Hardy Amies' famous "midnight blue" look.

If the invitation's dress code says "formal," what should you wear? If it says "black tie," you'll need a perfect outfit, but the most important thing about formal wear is the sense of distance between the venue and the people attending. Consider the type of venue and the people who will be there, anticipate the level of formality, and then plan your outfit accordingly.

I paired a lustrous dobby stripe shirt with a dark navy silk satin bow tie. Inspired by Sir Hardy Amies' famous quote about midnight blue, I chose the bow tie, which perfectly complements the textured suit. The chic semi-butterfly bow adds dimension to the shirt, which I selected with the same sensibility as the formal stripes, resulting in a well-calculated outfit that even beginners can pull off.

III. For those who prefer ties: "A sophisticated yet stylish tie is versatile."

Paisley is a classic tie pattern, but pairing it with a Solaro (navy) suit and a classic tie featuring a large, woven paisley pattern that looks almost solid will create a dressy feel without being overly flashy. Paisley is also a pattern that comes in a wide variety of bow ties, so if you want to create an even more formal look, be sure to try a bow tie as well.
