La Scala, run by up-and-coming young tailor Nobuhito Yamaguchi, and Vanacore, a collaboration project that started this year, will be holding a bespoke order event for La Scala x Vanacore on October 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun).
After working at a prestigious suit factory in Japan, Nobuhito Yamaguchi traveled alone to Europe to train in the UK and Italy. He was particularly influenced by the tailoring techniques of Naples, Italy, and learned much from leading tailors in the region.

His aesthetic sense is expressed through broad shoulders and a masculine chest, and the tailoring achieves an overwhelmingly light and comfortable fit, making him one of the top tailors among Japanese tailors. Above all, his experience working as a tailor at Isetan Shinjuku has given him a deep understanding of how to create suits that flatter the Japanese physique in the most elegant way.

The Made-to-Measure line, launched in 2018, beautifully embodies the essence of his suits, offering a lightweight feel and incorporating the Neapolitan atmosphere that influenced him, while resulting in a more standard model.

Another point of interest at this trunk show is the launch of La Scala's first made-to-measure coats. As mentioned above, one of the characteristics of LA SCALA suits is their incredible lightness, and Yamaguchi himself has incorporated this aspect into the coats, achieving a soft and comfortable feel that is unexpected given their dressy appearance.

Furthermore, this time, we will also be holding a bespoke shirt ordering event in collaboration with the Neapolitan shirt brand Vanacore. On the day of the event, Salvatore Nunziata, the second-generation owner who oversees the brand's workshop, will be visiting from Italy.
