TIE YOUR TIE , the original necktie brand of the renowned Florence menswear store "TIE YOUR TIE," is holding a promotion at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor, Dress Shirts & Neckties section. From Wednesday, October 16th to Tuesday, October 22nd, the brand will be showcasing a collection created in collaboration with KUSKA, a necktie brand from Tango, Kyoto, as part of a project that pays homage to Japan.

"Sfoderato" (unlined) - ¥38,500 each; "Settepieghe" (seven-fold) - ¥44,000 each

TIE YOUR TIE 's project to rediscover the beauty of Japan, "In Homage to Japan's Heritage," is back for its second installment. This time, it's a collaboration with Kusuka, a necktie brand from Tango, Kyoto, a region with over 300 years of history in silk weaving. Kyoto is a sister city of Florence, the birthplace of TIE YOUR TIE , and this project was initiated by founder Franco Minucci's long-held reverence for its history and culture. Kusuka was chosen as the partner for this collaboration because it produces high-quality textiles using traditional "craftsmanship" from yarn making to dyeing, hand weaving, and product completion, based on the advanced weaving techniques and knowledge of Tango crepe silk.

The collaboration models featured in this promotion use "Garza," a fabric from Kusuka's fabric collection that is woven using yarn processed with "Non-Fill Processing®," a special technique unique to Tango that is applied at the yarn stage. The models are then tailored in Italy. The lineup consists of 12 styles in total, including the seven-fold and unlined styles that are representative of TIE YOUR TIE .

The yarn, treated with "Non-Fill Processing®," features an elegant luster that suppresses the pilling that is a drawback of silk. Furthermore, within the "Garza" range, thick silk threads that cannot be used on machine looms are woven by hand without putting stress on them, resulting in a three-dimensional and unique texture. Combined with the luster of the yarn, this creates an exquisite fabric.

The "Garza" fabric, woven by Kusuka using meticulous handwork, is 50cm wide and just under 1m long, and each tie requires twice the amount of fabric as a regular tie. The seven-fold tie, which uses this luxurious fabric in abundance, is the ultimate tie.
