One of agnès b.'s signature items, the "Cardigan Pression," is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, Men's Contemporary is featuring this model in a special display.


On a hot summer day in 1979, Agnès b. cut open the front of the white sweatshirt she was wearing with scissors and lined up snap buttons like a Renaissance garment to transform it into a cardigan. That was the beginning of the "Cardigan Pression."

This time, exclusively available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , is a special model commissioned from a thick sweatshirt fabric, inspired by the fascinating story behind its creation. The result is a nostalgic piece that faithfully reproduces its roots.

During the exhibition, a photobook titled "Cardigan Pression," published by ASSOULINE, a well-known publisher specializing in visual books on fashion, art, and lifestyle, will also be on display.
