As Britain's leading luxury ready-to-wear shoe manufacturer, EDWARD GREEN has produced timeless classics that have been loved for generations. One of its most iconic models is the "Dover," an apron-front (U-tip) style shoe.

Gently tracing the skin stitching on the U-shaped (moc toe) section with your finger, you can feel the unparalleled precision of the needle made from twisted boar whiskers held by a skilled craftsman. Similarly, the split toe joint, where the seams are hidden by hand, is exceptional.

The "Dover," a shoe that has always been an icon of Edward Green, has reappeared this fall as "Dover Variations," featuring various combinations of upper materials, lasts, and bottom (sole) constructions.



The iconic "Dover" last 32 features "ZUG" leather (English Oak) and a Ridgeway sole that combines functionality with a casual feel. The last 202, which is well-suited to Japanese feet, uses "Oyster" colored suede and comes unlined.

The 82 last features "Cloud" colored calf leather, while the semi-square-toe 88 last uses black "Utah" leather with a fine textured surface. The square-toe 606 features burgundy "London Grain" leather on the upper, and the lineup consists of five different "Dover Variations."

Edward Green's legacy, which has always imbued gentlemen's feet with dignity and built a solid history, will be given a new lease on life in 2019.
It is considered the finest in Britain.
