From August 21st (Wednesday) to September 3rd (Tuesday), Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor, Men's Contemporary will host a pop-up promotion focusing on MINOTAUR INST.'s Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

At this event, the new Fall/Winter 2019 collection will be released in Japan ahead of other countries, and two items from the "Urban Design Generator" series, a T-shirt and a hoodie, will be exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku Store .

"Urban Design Generator" is a new attempt to extract design codes from urban subways, traffic signs, pictograms, and other elements, and reconstruct them by incorporating them into fashion design.

The constructed graphics are made up of countless photos posted on Instagram with the hashtag #Shinjuku. This collection of Shinjuku scenes can be described as an "alternative Shinjuku" on the internet, created through the eyes of people.

The latest collection is designed with the world's first infographic, the schematic layout diagram used in the London Underground map, invented in 1931 by British draftsman Harry Beck, as its motif. It also incorporates the concept of "post-urban" and the "alternative city" constructed through the perspectives of people on social media as another motif.
