KANPEKINA

These "perfect" shoes, the talk of the town in Europe, are now being re-imported.

Models featuring camouflage-patterned calfskin on the entire upper, or in parts, are rarely seen in Japan. There are also longwings that combine gray sealskin.

Shoes: (Suede) from 50,000 yen, (Smooth Leather) from 60,000 yen, (Calf Hair/Seal Skin) from 80,000 yen. Delivery: Approximately 4 months later.

Binaseiko, a shoe manufacturer that has produced shoes for numerous famous brands and operates its own brand, Perfetto, has launched a shoe brand called KANPEKINA (perfect), which is a Japanese pronunciation of its own brand name, for overseas markets such as Europe.

This bespoke order event will be held for the first time in Japan at the ISETAN Shoe Fair. Perfetto, the company, is known for its meticulously crafted, authentic dress shoes, but you will be surprised by their bold styles and innovative use of materials, which are quite different from their usual offerings. Experience their unique aesthetic sense, recognized by European sensibilities.

TOMOE × FUKUSKE

"Tomoe" collaborates with "Fukusuke" on shoes with a Japanese theme.

The boots feature a clasp at the front of the shaft that allows them to be opened and closed. The shaft is made of black suede. FUKUSKE socks will also be sold during the ISETAN Shoe Fair (including collaboration socks). 62,640 yen

Since 2016, the shoe brand "Tomoe" has been developing made-in-Japan shoes based on the concept of "stylish and chic Japanese shoes." Now, the brand has collaborated with "Fukusuke," known for its tabi socks.

These boots, which feature kohaze (fasteners used in tabi socks) on the inside instead of buttons like button-up boots (grandpa boots), have a truly fresh impression, as they combine Western-style shoes with Japanese footwear culture head-on. They would go well not only with tailored wear such as suits and jackets, but also with traditional Japanese clothing.

YOUNG & OLSEN

The DRYGOODS STORE

Limited edition shoes and bags from popular brands are now available.

YOUNG & OLSEN The DRYGOODS STORE is a brand supported by a wide range of men and women for its high-quality, unisex casual style. Among its most popular items, which frequently sell out, is the tote bag made of soft embossed leather. A special ISETAN Shoe Fair model based on this tote is currently being prepared. Inspired by a "shoe bag" for carrying shoes, the bag's surface will be expressed using handwriting and other techniques. We look forward to seeing what ideas designer Yuhi Ozaki will incorporate into the finished product.

entoan

It doesn't have to be shoes; there are other things you can easily order.

You can choose from various types of leather, including smooth leather, embossed leather, and suede. A wide variety of colors are available. You can choose from solid colors or designs featuring alphanumeric characters. Held on September 15th (Sun) and 16th (Mon). 540 yen

Based in Koshigaya, Saitama, entoan is a brand that offers made-to-order shoes and leather goods that make the most of the natural texture of leather. At the ISETAN Shoe Fair, the brand will be showcasing "leather badges" instead of regular buttons. These are regular button badges with the surface covered in leather, and if you wear one on your chest, you too can join the "Leather Lovers' League"! Combining badges of multiple colors is also fun. It's an item that allows you to easily experience the joy of bespoke items.

REGAL ARCHIVE

The archives are being recreated at the ISETAN Shoe Fair venue.
The ISETAN Shoe Fair venue will recreate the archives. A selection of the finest collections from Regal Corporation's vast archives will be on display, tracing the history of Japanese shoemaking.

In addition to shoes, the shop is filled with advertising visuals from that era. The certificate of appreciation visible in the center was presented by the Ministry of Defense. Regal Corporation has been supplying shoes to the Japan Self-Defense Forces for many years.

Unveiling the depth and richness of Japanese footwear through confidential company documents.
In the back of the first floor of the Regal Corporation headquarters in Urayasu, Chiba, there is a space called "REGAL ARCHIVE." It houses a vast number of shoes, along with various books and documents. "The documents come here and remain because people believe that if they enter here, they will never get lost," says Fujii, the director of REGAL ARCHIVE. He explains that it is precisely because it is a private archive for employees that various shoe-related items, which are often perishable, have been preserved. It is a place where discoveries abound.

VAN REGAL shoes were incredibly popular in the 1960s. They were pioneers of what is now known as a "double-name" collaboration.

The exhibition will feature some of the following items: ankle-length slip-ons made by Brown, USA, which served as the prototype for Regal's masterpiece beefroll loafers; shoes made for the Japanese Army during the era of Japanese-made shoes; the "VAN REGAL" collaboration with VAN, which spearheaded the Ivy League boom; and the official shoes worn by athletes at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. By reflecting on the history of Japanese shoes through the REGAL ARCHIVE, shoes may feel like a more familiar presence.

These shoes were provided as part of the uniform for the Japanese Olympic team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. They were used for both ceremonial occasions and everyday wear. The white shoes are still being manufactured today.
