So, how is everyone doing?
At Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , we've already started showcasing our spring collection, and this time we'll be focusing on plus-size spring outerwear.
While spring outerwear often gives the impression of being only suitable for a limited time, I personally feel that its opportunities for use are expanding these days, thanks to the emergence of inner down jackets and the effects of global warming.


First up is a classic short coat from BLACK LABEL CRESTBRIDGE , which introduced a new check pattern, "beige check," in the Spring/Summer 2020 season.
First, check out the lining! The calm beige-toned check pattern dispels the image of being only for younger people, and it's my personal pick for this season!!
I have a feeling it's going to sell out completely!! (lol)

With its slim and neat style, it's recommended for creating a polished look.
This time, I deliberately paired it with a beige checkered shirt.



And the second item is a classic trench coat from MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY .

A gabardine trench coat is one of those timeless men's outerwear pieces, but this season I'm in the mood to wear it in a relaxed fit.
Since it's available up to size 54 (equivalent to 4L), we recommend trying one size larger than your usual size.
Perfect for a classic casual outfit like the one pictured!


Next up, as is customary, we'll introduce some restaurants in the Shinjuku area!
This time, we're featuring "Kirimugi-ya Jinroku," a popular udon restaurant near Shinjuku Gyoen.

To be honest, I'm a huge udon fan, and I think Japanese udon is the best noodle dish, even better than ramen or spaghetti!



I can confidently recommend "Kirimugi-ya Jinroku," a renowned restaurant near Shinjuku where you can enjoy udon noodles made with carefully selected ingredients, additive-free broth, and freshly made and cut noodles.
Udon noodles with a unique texture and smooth finish that you can only experience here.
For tempura toppings, I recommend the Oyako-ten (a set of chicken tempura and soft-boiled egg tempura)!
