Snow Peak, an outdoor brand from Niigata that has gained popularity for its high-spec and well-designed products, will open a pop-up shop on the 6th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building Men's Contemporary, from July 31st (Wednesday). During the event, the shop will feature a lineup of outdoor gear items, as well as their popular apparel line.

"TAKIBI" series: Left) Jacket ¥41,040 Right) Vest ¥38,880
*Scheduled to be released on August 2nd (Friday)

Snow Peak's apparel line, based on the concept of "HOME⇄TENT," proposes clothing that allows you to move between the city and nature. They develop materials and designs from their own unique perspective, creating items that combine everyday wear with the functionality and wisdom of the outdoors.

The "TAKIBI" series of apparel designed for enjoying bonfires uses flame-retardant aramid material, also used in firefighter uniforms, to prevent holes from being burned by sparks. This popular series is already known for its excellent abrasion resistance and strength, but this season it has evolved even further. The outer fabric has been treated with a water-repellent finish, making it resistant to rain and suitable for a variety of situations. This new series, essential not only for gathering around a bonfire but also for urban outdoor styles, will feature four new items: overalls, a jacket, a vest, and pants.

"LOCAL WEAR IWATE"
Left) HANTEN ¥25,920 Right) HAPPI VEST ¥127,440

Furthermore, Snow Peak has launched "LOCAL WEAR by Snow Peak," an apparel line that utilizes the local culture and techniques of various regions of Japan, based on the concept of "wearing the land." "LOCAL WEAR IWATE," which focuses on Iwate Prefecture, is a collaboration with Kyoya Dyeing Shop, a long-established company that has been making festival costumes such as happi coats and yukata, as well as the local folk dance "Shika Odori," for over 100 years. The lineup includes the "Traditional Series," which incorporates traditional festival costumes made with fabrics produced using time-honored techniques into the Snow Peak worldview, and the "Modern Series," which deliberately tailors Western-style clothing using traditional Japanese sewing techniques.
