The Aran Islands, a group of small islands exposed to strong winds and with little room for vegetation, are located about 24 kilometers off the west coast of Ireland. In this harsh environment, Aran knitwear, featuring unique and decorative knitting techniques, was created for the fishermen. In the 1960s, this high-quality knit became a huge hit in the United States and gained worldwide recognition.

This Inishmaan knitwear is made on a tiny island called Inishmaan, located within the Aran Islands, just 4.8 kilometers from east to west and inhabited by only about 200 people. It is one of the origins that has preserved the traditional manufacturing methods of Aran knitwear.
The knitwear that women once painstakingly knitted to pray for the safety of fishermen has been updated into a modern style by using carefully selected materials.
Inishman's knitwear, in particular, is characterized by its deep colors that reflect the island's four seasons, and simply wearing one piece creates an elegant look. In summer, linen knits that prioritize breathability and a smooth feel against the skin are a staple, promising comfortable wear. Knitwear that was once a favorite on ships has transformed and become an essential item for a sophisticated urban lifestyle.
