"N.18 water-repelling®" is an advanced super water-repellent system developed in Japan using the latest technology. By stabilizing the chemical directly within the fibers, it achieves an unprecedented level of water repellency, while maintaining excellent quick-drying and breathability properties, as well as being durable after washing and easy to maintain. Moreover, it does not impair the original texture of the natural material, thus meeting the ideal requirements for a dress shirt worn daily.
For this project, aiming to create new value, this fabric will be used and produced by Luigi Borrelli, who is considered world-class in pattern making and sewing. Founded in 1957, the company is a pioneer of Neapolitan shirts, having thoroughly researched the human body and incorporated handwork at a time when only flat, stiffly sewn shirts existed. They have perfected shirts that are said to offer "the ultimate comfort." Each shirt, carefully sewn by skilled craftsmen using a combination of machine and handwork, is renowned for its three-dimensionality, softness, and beautiful collar shape, and is loved all over the world.
While retaining the distinctive features of Luigi Borrelli's designs, this comfort dress shirt has evolved thanks to Japan's proud processing technology. It is truly a unique and valuable piece that can only be found here.
