This event pays homage to the long-standing collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld, known as the "Emperor" of the fashion world and who passed away this February at the age of 85, and the luxury brand FENDI . A pop-up store for the 2019-20 Fall/Winter men's collection, themed "Fendi Library" just like the show, is being held until July 16th (Tuesday) at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor = Promotion.

From apparel to simulation games, the overwhelming presence of "Karl Collage"!
Karl Lagerfeld, the guest artist for FENDI 's Fall/Winter 2019-20 men's collection, possesses a vast archive of books and materials in Paris and Rome. The original collage prints, "Karl Collage," which are also used in the interior of the pop-up store, are a result of the collaboration between Karl and FENDI 's creative director, Silvia Fendi, and Karl's own creative knowledge and extensive experience.

Upon closer inspection of Karl Collage, one can find elements of styles Karl wore in the past, his sketches, and calligraphy throughout. For example, a sketch of the "FF" logo that Karl drew in the 1970s is actually used on the heels of high-top sneakers.
Karl Collage offers a wide range of items, from handcrafted shearling, down jackets, shirts, and T-shirts to bags, SLGs (small leather goods), caps, and sneakers. This pop-up store is the second in the world, following the one that opened in Milan last week, and the fastest in Japan. All products, imbued with the world of the library—Fendi Library—are being released in Japan first.

Pay attention to their extensive tailoring and selection of iconic bags.
One of the first things to notice at the pop-up store is the wide variety of tailoring options. In particular, the two-tone jacket based on Karl's sketches, with one side featuring a shawl collar and the other a tailored collar, and the men's shirt that Sylvia wore when greeting people on the runway, are pieces that can be worn right away. The selection of bags that can be enjoyed in conjunction with the tailoring is also a highlight.

Bags are synonymous with FENDI , and the iconic "Baguette" bag, making its debut in the men's collection, is crafted from calf leather in the "Cuoio Romano" style and comes in three sizes, including a mini pouch. The largest size, a body bag, can be enjoyed in four ways: carried by hand, worn across the body, or as a clutch. Furthermore, the version exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku Store features black FF hardware and a red interior lining, resulting in a unique yet easy-to-coordinate design.

Furthermore, the "Peekaboo Essential for Men," exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku Store is another iconic bag from the brand, featuring a metallic gray body and the FF logo on the inside.
Many of the bags and SLGs are unisex, so the collection offers designs that can be recommended not only to FENDI enthusiasts but also to anyone who wants to carry a luxury bag with a subtle logo.
Additionally, customers who spend over 100,000 yen (including tax) at the store during the pop-up period will receive a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) made by a Kyoto manufacturer called "Carl Collage" as a gift. A special event will also be held from 3 PM to 7 PM on the 11th (Thursday), featuring Isao Yokoyama, known as the "Furoshiki Prince," who will teach customers how to use furoshiki.
The official Instagram account for the designer and luxury magazine 'EPOCH' (@isetanmens_epoch) will be releasing behind-the-scenes videos of the photoshoot!
