TIE YOUR TIE
Ties: Left: ¥34,560, Right: ¥27,000 ■ Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F = Dress Shirts & Ties

In 1984, Franco Minucci, who had worked as an agent for renowned brands, opened Tie Your Tie, a high-end menswear store, in Florence. Already a well-known and sophisticated fashionista in a city frequented by stylish people, he infused his own aesthetic sense and ideas into the store, which quickly attracted attention.
What made this shop world-famous was its original tie called "settepieghe." Made entirely by hand using high-quality fabric folded seven times without any interlining, these ties are considered exceptional even among the many classic items available.

There are various theories about the origin of the necktie, but one of them is that it originated from a scarf. Therefore, the authentic necktie is made from a single piece of light, soft fabric folded, and its beauty lies in its soft, three-dimensional shape. However, creating such a necktie requires enormous costs and exceptional skill, so nowadays, shops and brands that continue to produce "settepieghe" (seven-fold) ties are extremely rare. Adorning the V-zone with a Tie Your Tie necktie is still undoubtedly a "sign of a stylish person."
