A spicy highball is perfect for a hot day!

It can still be a little chilly in the mornings and evenings, but the weather is gradually getting warmer.
When that happens, come to Salon de Shimaji and have a "Spicy Highball."
We offer three different sizes to suit your thirst level.


Shimaji : "It's getting hotter and hotter, isn't it? On days like this, a spicy highball is the best. I recommend the one-pint size. It's the size of three glasses, so it'll quench your thirst in no time."

The spicy highball is a staple on Salon de Shimaji's menu.
To reiterate the recipe, it's a highball made by mixing Talisker 10 Year Old with Suntory Yamazaki Premium Soda, and topped with black pepper smoked with Scottish peat.

Katsuhiko Shimaji is the producer of the Isetan Men's Residence Salon de Shimaji, located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Born in 1941, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and joined Shueisha. He was assigned to "Weekly Playboy" and became its editor-in-chief in 1983, where he created a sensation with the "Life Advice" column featuring Renzo Shibata, Toko Kon, and Ken Kaiko as respondents, growing the magazine into a million-copy publication. He later served as editor-in-chief of "PLAYBOY Japan" and "BART." After serving as the representative director of Shueisha International, he retired in 2008. He is currently a writer and essayist.
