From Wednesday, April 24th Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor, will host a promotion by Yuhaku in its leather goods section. During the event, the brand's highly popular "Luce et Ombra" series will be available for a limited time, along with a wide variety of other items, including cordovan leather, which is not usually carried by the store.

With the motto "Portable Art," Yuhaku creates leather products using a unique hand-dyeing technique that resembles painting. The "Luce et Ombra" series, featured here, is one of Yuhaku's most consistently popular lines.

"Luce e Ombra," which means "light and shadow" in Italian, is named after the process of first dyeing the leather with a soft color representing sunlight, and then hand-dyeing it with a jet-black dye representing shadow. By allowing two colors to coexist on a single piece of leather, the result is a beautiful leather product that is like a work of art, expressing "light shining through the shadows."
