The designer will be present on the day to provide personalized advice on choosing and ordering a hat.

Hat made of natural Echizen washi paper: 28,080 yen

Bizarre is a hat brand created by designers Atomu Uchida and Junko Uchida. Their original hat designs, produced in their Kyoto atelier, are all created using three-dimensional cutting techniques, resulting in high-quality, playful hats. Maximizing comfort, their unique and original designs often draw inspiration from nature, and can take on various shapes and expressions depending on how they are worn.

The theme for Spring/Summer 2019 is "GIFT FROM THE SEA." We will be introducing new spring/summer items using light and cool materials such as linen fabric, raffia braid, and hand-knitted items. In particular, a hat made with a special fabric using Echizen washi paper and adorned with seashell beads is one of the characteristic items of the theme. We also recommend a hat that combines a crown made of hand-knitted bamboo washi paper yarn with a brim made of raffia (fibers made from dried leaves of the raffia palm that grows on the island of Madagascar) and braid.

At this custom order event, you can choose from approximately 20 original samples and have a custom-made hat made to your liking, including size, material, color, and brim width. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the comfortable fit that only a custom-made hat can offer, as it is made considering not only the size but also the depth of your head.
