PANTALONAIO Osaku Hayato, a brand developed by Hayato Osaku, one of Japan's leading trouser tailors, focusing on made-to-measure garments, will be holding a trunk show for a limited time. The event will take place from Wednesday, March 20th to Tuesday, March 26th at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Men's Tailored Clothing. In addition to a wide selection of fabrics specially proposed for this event, there will also be an order event with Mr. Osaku himself in attendance on Saturday, March 23rd.

Hayato Osaku, who honed his skills at the long-established tailor Ichibankan, is a pioneer in the field of trouser making, a profession with virtually no predecessors. Having repaired trousers from all over the world, he has thoroughly absorbed the highest level of craftsmanship and the philosophy of auxiliary materials from veteran tailors overseas. His trousers are made to form an "M" shape that beautifully wraps around the hips and joints, resulting in a comfortable fit.

In particular, his trousers offer a wide range of alterations, and a key feature is that fitters with extensive pattern knowledge handle everything from initial consultation to pattern creation, ensuring that customer requests are reflected to the fullest extent. Interlinings and buttons are developed in-house in collaboration with domestic manufacturers, pursuing the highest possible quality for trousers.




Following last fall's event, this trunk show will once again feature wool mohair fabric with alternating dark and light pindot patterns, produced in collaboration with Kuzuri Woolen Mills in Bishu. Three colors will be available, including a new charcoal gray, and the denim fabric collection will be expanded to include cotton linen using Kurashiki denim, which was not possible for typical trouser sewing factories.

Also noteworthy is the "actual fabric collection," featuring fabrics from domestic manufacturers such as Katsuri Woolen Mills (mentioned above) and imported Italian fabrics—fabrics that can only be found there.

Furthermore, m039/M Zero San Kyu, the ready-made line supervised by Mr. Osaku, which suspended its brand two years ago, has been relaunched with improved comfort. The sewing is handled by the highly skilled factory that also works on Pantalonaio Osaku Hayato, and the auxiliary materials, which are key to the finished product, have been re-selected for this occasion. The waistband lining uses gingham check fabric that Mr. Osaku previously used in his bespoke work, and the ambitious work shows attention to detail in its specifications.
