The latest collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and Dr. Martens features a double monk strap with a slim last.

New Spring/Summer 2019 shoes from Yohji Yamamoto's collaboration with Dr. Martens will be available at the International Creators section on the 2nd floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . They will be released nationwide at Yohji Yamamoto stores starting January 30th (Wednesday).


"DOUBLE MONK STRAP" ¥69,120


The double monk strap shoes introduced this season feature a sleek, slender last instead of the traditional rounded toe. The original design features two straps securing the outer wingtip, and the upper is crafted from matte smooth leather with a matte black plated buckle.

Furthermore, the upper features double stitching in black and yellow, while the sole uses only black stitching, and the sole color is a new color called "smoke." The result is a shoe with an elegant look that will become more comfortable with each wear and will develop a unique patina over time.
