Dear friends

I'm writing this letter from a mountain hut at Sengataki in Karuizawa, a place I haven't been to in a while. In Karuizawa, this time of year is when you can first feel the arrival of autumn, and you can see the leaves of the deciduous trees beginning to change color being rustled by the strong winds of Happu. And what I want to wear more than anything in this place is knitwear from The Inoue Brothers. This is the fourth time we're featuring their knitwear in the gallery, and this time they've sent us a message saying, "We've tried a new approach." That is, an undyed white sweater made with Imperial alpaca in addition to their famous black alpaca.
