---First, could you tell us what inspires you to make hats?
The people, plants, and animals we encounter throughout our lives, the hustle and bustle of big cities, the tranquility of nature, the whispers of the stars. Based on the energy we can feel from the life nurtured on this planet, we should feel with our hearts, not with our minds.
I draw inspiration from the messages I receive from that kind of world.
---What do you find most enjoyable about hat making?
The fact that there is no end to design, art, and music.
What I enjoy most is that with each new idea I get to meet different people and places, gain new knowledge and inspiration, experience wonderful things from around the world, and grow as a person in that world.
---Please tell us about your commitment and passion for manufacturing.
Many people are involved in the creation of a product. Only when the thoughts and feelings of each of these people and craftsmen are brought together and imbued with that same spirit does the product truly come into the world.
I consider the works that embody these feelings to be a "cradle." I hope to create new stories by carrying customers who resonate with this large "cradle" filled with the thoughts and gratitude of many people.

—What kind of customers would you like to see wearing this?
It would make me happy if a customer with a lovely smile wore it.
---What challenges would you like to take on in hat making going forward?
Going forward, I will continue to pursue my creative endeavors, aiming to establish my own worldview as art. Through collaborations and creative projects with various people, I would like to challenge myself to discover new aspects of the depths of my own heart that I have yet to see.
