My flea market

Hello everyone. Currently, THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE is hosting a "Flea Market" where we are exhibiting precious items filled with memories from CHALIE's friends who are active in various fields. In this blog post, I would like to introduce some of these items to you.

First up is Kundo Koyama, a broadcast writer and CHALIE's closest friend.

Curry server: 21,600 yen

This curry server was purchased by Mr. Koyama in Paris. He bought it on impulse after having a meal with the late Paul Bocuse, who said, "The core of French food culture is sauce, but there are no dishes where the sauce is the main ingredient. However, Japan has a dish called curry rice! I envy you Japanese people."

Next, we'd like to introduce Chef Yosuke Suga.

"Kitchen knife and chef's coat" 64,800 yen

This knife was carved by Satake Sangyo in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. Mr. Suga met Satake Sangyo during a monthly trip across Japan where he travels around the country searching for ingredients, which is the responsibility of "SUGALABO Inc."

Finally, let me introduce shoe designer Hiroshi Tsubouchi.

"Shoes" 32,400 yen

When designing, Ms. Tsubouchi says she struggles with how to incorporate her own personality, but ideas often come to her in unexpected moments, such as when she's drinking or walking. Incidentally, these shoes are a one-of-a-kind pair that Ms. Tsubouchi had made for herself 4-5 years ago.

What did you think? In addition to what we've shown you today, we have many other precious items from CHALIE's friends on display. Please come and see these unique pieces filled with memories at our gallery. We look forward to your visit.
