--When you hear the themes "SOUL CAMP" and "HIP HOP," what kind of picture do you imagine drawing?

"I'm thinking of depicting not cool rappers or DJs who are actually involved in hip-hop, but rather slightly uncool people who like hip-hop (laughs)."

--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for performing a "live painting" in an unusual environment like Isetan Shinjuku.

"I don't think I can really impress people with a regular live painting, so I'd like to entertain them with an idea that has a bit of a twist to it. Actually, this is my first time doing live painting (laughs)."

--What aspects of your work would you like customers to see?

"It's embarrassing to say this myself, but I want people to see the parts that are deliberately 'out of the ordinary.' I'd be happy if people knew that I have these kinds of pop and quirky drawings, not just cool ones."
