A luxurious two-day experience of Savile Row tradition – Henry Poole and Deege & Skinner host a fitting session.（3/3）


William Skinner, the 5th generation head of Deege & Skinner, a company founded on Savile Row in 1865 and boasting a 150-year history, will be holding a fitting session on Sunday, September 16th at the Made to Measure section on the 5th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

Deege & Skinner, one of the few house tailors run by the founding family, received a Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II in 1994 and produces uniforms for the Royal Family Guards, offering dignified suits that carry on the traditions of a long-established company.

Savile Row suits are known for their structured shoulders and the beautiful silhouette of a detail called the "English drape," and Deege & Skinner has refined this essence into a modern design. The model, with its wide lapels and high gorge line, has a masculine and fashionable line, and the British-style waist shape is a key feature.

For this fitting session, we recommend classic fabrics from Schmitz & Lombardo. Their collection, which includes fabrics acquired from defunct weavers and archived, may offer some truly classic finds. Suits made with Schmitz & Lombardo fabric start at ¥324,000 and will be ready for delivery in approximately 5 weeks.
