Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 6F Contemporary Casual
With an insatiable passion for clothing making, the Japanese brand Markaware is meticulous in every aspect, from material selection and raw material procurement to processing. From Wednesday, September 5th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 6th floor = Contemporary Casual will be showcasing new items for the Fall/Winter 2018 season.


Coat: 129,600 yen
This luxurious reversible coat features 100% Shetland wool tweed on one side, a material that is difficult to obtain, and organic cotton gabardine from India on the other.

Markaware creates clothing in Japan, using high-quality raw materials sourced with consideration for the environment and the inherent goodness of the crops, from yarn to fabric. Their collections, crafted through visits to various factories and communication with producers, convey a message that they want people to appreciate not only the clothing itself, but also the stories behind it.


Cardigan ¥44,280
This undyed, natural-colored alpaca knit is crafted into a relaxed silhouette, resulting in a simple yet striking look.

Pants ¥29,160
These classic trousers are made from organic cotton sourced from India, woven into a high-density gabardine fabric in Japan, and then given a fine peach-brushed finish.

For the Fall/Winter 2018 season, the designer himself traveled to India to source sustainable materials from raw materials to create the fabrics for the collection. In this promotion, we will introduce high-quality adult casual wear made with carefully selected materials and crafted by Japanese artisans.
