As professionals who know everything about crocodile leather, DARMI offers unique crocodile sneakers. Founded in 1968, DARMI is a shoemaker based in Tuscany, Italy. Since becoming the Italian general agent for Henlong, the world's leading crocodile leather tanner, in 1998, DARMI has supplied raw hides to top brands worldwide, primarily in Italy, while also developing its own brand, DARMI, utilizing the shoemaking expertise it has cultivated since its founding.

Among the newly established bespoke shoe salons in the men's shoe/high-end corner on the first basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , the crocodile sneakers are particularly eye-catching. Skilled craftsmen have carefully selected the crocodile leather to maximize its unique characteristics, and every part is handcrafted. While this material is often left untouched due to its high quality, Dermi has intentionally applied special processing to create a vintage feel that gives the shoes a worn-in look even when new. This makes the luxury material of crocodile leather more accessible.

Regarding the opening, Takashi Fukuda, the buyer in charge of men's shoes, commented, "The biggest advantage is that the brand has its own tannery. The creativity and color variations that bring out the potential of crocodile leather are a sight to behold." The collection includes six models in total, including the classic 7-eyelet sneakers, as well as slip-ons and high-top models, all available in 24 colors of crocodile leather, allowing for over 100 possible combinations to be ordered. Prices start from 216,000 yen, with delivery expected in approximately three months.
