According to the calendar, it's already the beginning of autumn, but the hot weather continues unabated.
Autumn items are now available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , and I'm sure many of you are itching to decide what kind of outfits you'll enjoy this season.
Now, in THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE, we've been featuring ukuleles for about four weeks, and we'd like to share one summer episode involving us Angels and the ukulele.


This happened when all the Angels went on vacation to a certain beach.
In the morning, we went swimming in the sea, enjoyed sunbathing, and quietly read books. However, in the afternoon, we all started to feel tired, and that fatigue led to a minor argument...

In the midst of that tense atmosphere, as I was simply gazing at the sea, I suddenly heard the sound of a ukulele coming from somewhere.
Its gentle melody soothed our prickly hearts and transformed them into soft, rounded ones.

Then, as the sun set over the ocean, we continued to listen to the sound of the ukulele, laughing and talking as usual.
In this way, the sound of the ukulele further deepened the bond between the Angels.
You can experience seeing, touching, and playing the ukulele, an instrument that can deepen such bonds, until August 21st (Tuesday). Of course, even if you've never touched a ukulele before, this is a place where you can enjoy the world of the ukulele, so please come and make some summer memories.
This time, we'll introduce two ukuleles that Angels highly recommends.

Kamaka Ukulele 'HF-1' ¥140,400

First up is the Kamaka Ukulele 'HF-1'. As I mentioned in a previous blog post, Kamaka Ukuleles began production in 1916, and the techniques and spirit cultivated within Hawaiian culture have been passed down continuously for over 100 years without being lost. Among their many models, the 'HF-1' is a standard model and is loved by many.

Leho Ukulele 'LHUS-ASAK HEART' ¥46,440

Next up is 'LHUS-ASAK HEART' by Leho Ukulele.
Lejo Ukuleles are a ukulele brand that is popular with a wide range of players, from beginners to advanced, thanks to their affordable prices and high-quality finish and specifications.
The cute design with a heart-shaped soundhole is eye-catching, but the body is made of the popular acacia wood, so the sound quality is also superb.

Apparently, Charlie, who is on vacation in Honolulu, played his adorable and sweet-sounding 'LHUS-ASAK HEART' guitar on a beach date with a woman he's interested in, and successfully secured a dinner date with her. He contacted us to say he'll be enjoying his vacation a little longer!
As expected of Charlie, we are truly impressed by his ukulele selection and playing technique...
