A tailoring session by Hideaki Sato, who runs "Pecora Ginza," will be held on September 2nd (Sunday) at Made to Measure on the 5th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . Mr. Sato himself will be present on the day to assist with everything from fabric selection to measurements.

Born into a family of tailors as the third generation, Mr. Sato learned the fundamentals in Japan before moving to France in 1988. He gained experience as a pattern maker and then spent five years from 1990 training at the Milanese tailor "Mario Pecora." After returning to Japan in 2000, he opened "Pecora Ginza" and is known as a pioneer in spreading authentic French-style suits throughout Japan.

The garments he creates are characterized by a moderately soft and voluminous chest area, a shaped waist, and a rounded form that is distinctly Italian, making them comfortable to wear even when you're not feeling tired. His style involves a high proportion of handwork, and the collar attachment uses highly difficult techniques that are not possible in typical factory production, resulting in a beautifully tailored garment that resembles a bespoke suit, even though it is made to order.

For this fitting event, we have specially prepared about 30 different fabrics, including fabrics from the prestigious mill "ARISTON." In particular, this time customers can select fabrics that suit their preferences, such as heavyweight, substantial British fabrics that go well with Hideaki Sato suits, and light, soft Italian fabrics.
