JW Anderson will open a pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 2F = International Creators from Wednesday, August 22nd to Tuesday, September 11th.

J.W. Anderson, popular for its androgynous approach to fashion, including designs and silhouettes that transcend the boundaries between women's and men's wear, presents a wardrobe for its Fall/Winter 2018 collection that evokes "a certain everyday life," ranging from practical to artistic pieces while emphasizing effortless functionality. It reinterprets various masculine images, such as sailor, schoolboy, and military styles, with a youthful and modern perspective.

In particular, military items, which are usually expected to prioritize practicality, are full of playful details, such as trench coats with sailor collars, cable sweaters with fringes, and duffel coats with oversized toggles. This thought-provoking collection broke down the conventional concept of a uniform in a good way.
